HOW DID YOU BEGIN YOUR CAREER?

A friend of the family was looking for some help on a large prison project. I thought I would give it a try. I started out in the field as a laborer and project engineer.

WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY?

Mostly the people and the comradery amongst our fellow employees. The constant change on the different projects.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?

Working with different people on the numerous projects over the years. Each project has its own unique challenges and characteristics. 

BEST ADVICE:

Be willing to listen and learn from the people that have been in the industry for years. They are a great resource to further your deveopment in construction. 

BEST EXPERIENCE:

Being able to work on several large and complicated projects. These projects caused some headaches, but you had a sense of accomplishment when they were done.
